Dittmar Mission & Criteria
Dittmar Memorial Gallery at Norris University Center is an exhibition space and gathering place inviting the أغجاض±²¥ University أغجاض±²¥ to meaningfully interact with art from varying perspectives.
Through rotating exhibitions by emerging artists in the Evanston and Chicagoland area, partnerships with organizations and departments across the university, and a permanent collection, Dittmar prompts interdisciplinary dialogue through intentional engagement with the arts.
Please note: we are not able to accommodate international artists at this time.
2025-2026 Exhibition Submissions
Submissions for 2025-2026 exhibitions are now closed. Please check back soon for 2026-27 submissions.
Submitting Your Art
Dittmar Memorial Gallery welcomes submissions through a formal review process. Each May, the submissions committee meets to review submissions and select a season of artists for the following academic year. The submission form will require the following:
- Minimum of (5) high quality images applicable to your exhibition proposal
- Description of Exhibition Proposal
- Artwork Checklist - include artwork image and description (title, medium, size, and year)
- Artist Statement
- Resume/CV
- Contact information - email, phone, links to website and socials as applicable
